Betty Hogan
SECRETARY
Betty serves as Secretary, and settled in Mineral Point with her husband, from Chicago, in 2013. Their move fulfilled a longtime dream to live in a small town. Mineral Point’s artistic and creative atmosphere along with the many amazing people, were the perfect fit. Betty has always valued creativity and the arts in all forms, and has great admiration for artists and musicians. She spent her career as an educator encouraging creativity, and sneaking in art projects whenever she could. Though not an artist herself, she acts out her own creative impulses occasionally dabbling in art classes, but mostly takes it out on her garden, which is a work in progress. Betty holds an undergraduate degree from William Jewell College and an MEd from National Louis University.
