The Looms at the Cannery Arts Incubator
Four looms, lots of helping hands, and a wonderful space. That's how the Cannery Arts Incubator members have created a weaving studio with looms that have a variety of capabilities, and that are well suited for many different weaving projects. We have programs for beginners as well as experienced weavers. Loom rental, instruction and materials are available to AMP members for a nominal charge.
Open Studio for Beginning or Experienced Weavers
Enjoy the camaraderie of studio weaving. This is where beginners and experienced weavers can come together for an evening of discovery, fun, and weaving. Instructor(s) will be on hand to get you started. The first Cannery Open Weaving Studio will be on ALL four Tuesdays in June: 7, 14, 21, and 28, from 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. You may bring your own materials or purchase from our selection of weaving supplies. Advance sign-up is advised.

Rug Weaving
No experience necessary to weave a useful, functional rag rug, made with a choice of your material or choose from our huge selection of new fabric strips. Want to weave a set of rugs? Ask about extended weaving time.
Class fee to be determined by size of project and type of material chosen. The average cost of making a 27” x 48” rug is usually less than $25.
