The Looms at The Cannery Arts Incubator
Many looms, lots of helping hands, and a wonderful space.
That's how the Cannery Arts Incubator members have created a weaving studio with looms that have a variety of capabilities, and that are well suited for many different weaving projects. We can accommodate beginners as well as experienced weavers. Loom rental, instruction and materials are available to AMP members for a nominal charge.
Occasional Open Studio for Beginning or Experienced Weavers
Enjoy the camaraderie of studio weaving. This is where beginners and experienced weavers can come together for an evening of discovery, fun, and weaving. Instructor(s) will be on hand to get you started. You may bring your own materials or purchase from our selection of weaving supplies. Sign up to be notified when Open Studio will be scheduled.

Rag Rug Weaving
No experience is necessary to weave a useful, functional rag rug, made with a choice of your material or choose from our huge selection of new and upcycled fabric. Want to weave a set of rugs? Ask about extended weaving time.
Material fee will be determined by the size of the project and amount of material used. The average cost of materials for making a 27” x 48” rug is usually less than $25.
