Over the years I have worked in the arts with paint, clay, wood, metal, and concrete. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in art and a K-12 Teaching Certificate. 

Through the Wisconsin Arts Board, I was an Artist in Education, doing school and community projects for 25 years. I also worked as a ceramic artist, sculptor, and potter for 40 years. 

I like to mix the serious with the humorous in my work. I enjoy double meanings and satire. I am drawn to bright colors, bold textures, and interesting structures.
